Today, Congressman Kevin Brady (TX-08) released the following statement on H.R. 5, The Equality Act.

"I am dedicated to ensuring that all Americans -- including those in the LGBTQ community -- can work and live without fear of discrimination. I am for equal rights, not special rights; unfortunately, this bill would create greater inequality, undermine the fundamental rights and religious liberty of Texans, and penalize individuals for their personal views."
