Byrne Statement on AMPV Repairs at Anniston Army Depot

Congressman Bradley Byrne released the following statement after the U.S. Army's Materiel Command selected the Anniston Army Depot as the primary location for Armored Multipurpose Vehicle (AMPV) repairs.

Congressman Byrne: "With the AMPV scheduled to replace the M113 class of vehicles currently repaired at the Depot, the Army made the logical choice to pick Anniston. This selection will maintain the efficient and high-performing workforce that has created a legacy of success on many Army programs. I've visited the Depot and seen firsthand the quality work accomplished there, and I'll continue supporting their work through my service on the House Armed Services Committee."
