No to hollowed-out health plans

Statement

When someone in your family gets sick, you never want to hear your insurance does not cover the illness. That is the risk with hollowed out health plans the Trump administration wants to let insurers sell. Together with my Democratic colleagues on the House Education and Labor Committee on Wednesday I voted for H.R. 1010, legislation that would nullify the Trump administration's Short-Term, Limited Duration Insurance rule that permits deficient plans that short-change consumers.
