Today, Congressman Bill Foster announced that he will continue to serve on the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology and the Committee on Financial Services in the 116th Congress. On the Science, Space, and Technology Committee, Foster will serve on the Subcommittee on Energy and the Subcommittee on Research and Technology.

"I'm excited to continue my work on the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology and the Committee on Financial Services," Foster said. "I look forward to a robust discussion on ways we can make sure the United States remains a leader in economic growth and scientific innovation and research. We have a lot of work to do to make sure we promote fact-based hearings on issues that affect hardworking Americans."

Congressman Foster has served on the Committee on Financial Services in the 110th, 111th, 113th, 114th, and 115th Congresses. He is an original co-author of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection. When he first entered Congress, he crafted legislation that responded to the Great Recession and prevented another financial collapse.
