Today, U.S. Rep. Ted Budd (R-N.C.) released the following statement after reintroducing the Working Families Relief Act, H.R. 1068:
"Today's kids are tomorrow's taxpayers, and I believe we need to do as much as we can to provide relief for working parents who are raising them. My bill says that if you're a working mother of three who pays $1,400 in payroll taxes in a given year then the entire Child Tax Credit would be refundable. While there are a growing amount of issues in Congress that divide the two parties, giving working parents some relief should be the exception to that."
