President Bush Invites Ros- Lehtinen To Inspect Affected Areas By Hurricane Wilma

Congresswomen Ileana Ros-Lehtinen and Katherine Harris, Congressmen Connie Mack, Lincoln Diaz-Balart, Alcee Hastings, and Robert Wexler are scheduled to travel today with President Bush on Airforce One from Washington to Miami, where they will meet to discuss reconstruction efforts in the wake of Hurricane Wilma. They will be joined by Governor Jeb Bush and local officials at the Hurricane Center in Miami.

"It is a great honor to have been invited by President Bush as he travels to South Florida to have an eyewitness view of the devastation cost by Hurricane Wilma to my Congressional District," said Ros-Lehtinen.

"The citizens of South Florida have suffered significant damage with Hurricane Wilma. It is important that our President understands the magnitude of the devastation in our community. I will continue to work tirelessly with my colleagues in Congress to ensure that those affected by this disaster receive the help they so desperately need," concluded Ros-Lehtinen.
