Rep. Cunningham Assigned Spot on Veterans' Affairs Committee

Today, Congressman Joe Cunningham learned he has secured an assignment on the House Committee on Veterans' Affairs. Congressman Cunningham released the following statement:

"There is a sacred vow between a nation and its veterans, and as a committee member on Veterans' Affairs, there is no responsibility I will take more seriously. Those who have chosen to put on the uniform and serve our country in military service deserve our unwavering support. Lowcountry veterans and their families are owed access to the best and most reliable care, services, and benefits. I am humbled by the opportunity to work closely with my committee members on both sides of the aisle to deliver on these promises."
