Congresswoman Miller Stands with President Trump, Says "Build the Wall"

Following President Trump's Oval Office address, Congresswoman Carol Miller (WV3) hailed President Trump's steadfast resolution to build a wall on the United States' border with Mexico. Miller issued the following statement:

"Tonight, President Trump once again presented a clear and convincing case for building a wall on our border with Mexico. We are facing a humanitarian crisis on our southern border, and it is time for Washington Democrats to stop playing political games and start focusing on national security. We need to build a wall and reopen our government -- plain and simple."

Congresswoman Miller continued "Thank you President Trump for your proposal to fight drug trafficking over our southern border. In 2018 alone, the amount of heroin and fentanyl seized by border security was enough to kill every man, woman, and child in the United States. A strong border will help to defeat the opioid epidemic that is ravaging West Virginia and the entire country."
