Today, Congresswoman Debbie Lesko (AZ-08) released the following statement after Governor Doug Ducey announced Congresswoman Martha McSally would fill the U.S. Senate seat for Arizona vacated by the late Senator John McCain and Senator Jon Kyl:
"Congratulations to Martha McSally on her appointment to the U.S. Senate. She is an excellent choice to represent our state as Arizona's next Senator. I want to thank Senator Jon Kyl for serving Arizonans once again by agreeing to stay through the end of this year. He has served Arizona for many years, and I wish him and his family well. I look forward to working with my new Arizona colleagues on behalf of our great state."
