Issue Position

As residents of Calhoun County, we are proud of our diversity. With folks from all different backgrounds and walks of life, we should celebrate how all our community members contribute not only to our local economy, but to our fabric as a community.

We need to do more in Lansing to make sure that all families, in Calhoun County and across Michigan, have equal access to opportunity and justice under the law. No Michigander should be fired or denied housing because of the color of their skin or the gender of the person they love. And at a more basic level, every Michigander should feel safe and secure in their homes, cars, and public places.

As state representative, I will fight to promote opportunity, justice, and safety for all our community members and Michiganders across our peninsulas.
