For the first time in over ten years, Massachusetts saw a decrease in opioid overdose deaths. We have committed over $250 Million to create recovery centers, expanded access to community-based treatment, bulk purchase of narcan and we adopted the strongest fentanyl and carfentanyl trafficking statute in the country.
