This afternoon, Vice President Joe Biden, JB Pritzker, Juliana Stratton, Kwame Raoul, Mike Frerichs, Cheri Bustos, and Brendan Kelly held a GOTV Rally with hundreds of voters in the Metro East.

"Illinois can only succeed if working families succeed, but Bruce Rauner and Mike Bost don't get that," said JB Pritzker. "Instead of believing in our labor unions or investing in downstate Illinois, Bruce Rauner and Mike Bost pursued an anti-working family agenda. They've fought tooth and nail to slash childcare assistance, to cut home care for seniors, to scrap mental health and substance abuse treatment, and to eliminate violence interruption programs for our young people. Congresswoman Bustos, Senator Durbin, and Vice President Biden know a leader when they see one -- and they know southern Illinois deserves a leader like Brendan Kelly. On November 6th, let's start a new day in Illinois, one where working families can get ahead."
