Issue Position: Supports School Choice for Parents and More $$$ to Classrooms and Teachers

I helped lead the charge to increase K-12 funding and to increase teacher pay by 20% over the next three years, and we got the job done without raising taxes. Now we need to make sure that these billions of additional dollars make it to the classrooms themselves, there they can benefit our kids and teachers directly. I have also been fighting to improve the school funding formulas for our rural schools and championed dual enrollment at every high school in our districts.
