During the 2015 session, our Legislators passed the largest tax increase in Nevada History. In addition they included a "Gross Receipt Commerce Tax" component on businesses in the complete tax increase legislation.
The burden of this Tax Increase legislation has fallen squarely on the shoulders of you, your Family and all of the Citizens of Nevada.
Businesses pass on to us any tax increases they receive. We, the people of Nevada, ultimately pay for ALL tax increases.
I will oppose any efforts to lower the Commerce Tax Threshold and/or an increase of the NAICS Business Category tax rates.
Now the Democrats want to raise your PROPERTY TAXES.
I will strongly oppose any legislation that will further increase your property taxes.
