"My heart is heavy for Pittsburgh and the Tree of Life Congregation. My prayers are with those taken from us this morning and the first responders.

This week we've seen assassination attempts against public officials and multiple hate crimes. The President of the United States has a responsibility to brings us together as a nation--not continue his attacks on his perceived enemies.

.@HouseDemocrats stand ready to #EndGunViolence. But we can't do it alone--Republicans must work with us to end this national epidemic."
