released a statement today after the Senate voted to confirm Judge Brett Kavanaugh to serve on the United States Supreme Court:

"I am extremely pleased with the Senate's decision to confirm Judge Brett Kavanaugh to serve on the United States Supreme Court. Judge Kavanaugh has an excellent record of defending our constitution and upholding our American laws. The Democrats put him through one of, if the not the most, grueling confirmation processes in our nation's history. Not confirming Judge Kavanaugh would have been a huge loss and would have paved the way for further obstruction and destruction of this institution and our country, by Senate Democrats. However, Judge Kavanaugh showed tremendous strength in the face of adversity and continued to prove his unyielding commitment to serving our country."
