Rohrabacher Praises Kavanaugh Confirmation, Admonishes His Detractors

On the Senate's confirmation of Justice Brett Kavanaugh to the United States Supreme Court earlier today, Congressman Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) issued the following statement:

"Today, the American people are breathing a sigh of relief that the fanaticism of the liberal-left has not derailed the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the United States Supreme Court.

The process of confirming Kavanaugh's appointment to the Court was a spectacle unlike any we have seen throughout our nation's history. The personal attacks and unsubstantiated allegations used by Democrats were clearly part of a political power play. Kavanaugh has an exemplary record and decades of service to our nation, yet he was shamelessly targeted with smears on his character. This demonstrated that there is no limit to the despicable means that Democrats are willing to use to achieve their goals.

This travesty has galvanized the American people against these abhorrent political tactics. We are grateful to the Republicans in the Senate who stood up and pushed back on this vicious assault on a good man."
