Issue Position

Steve has worked closely with our teachers, school district and school boards to protect their role in educating our youth. He agrees with the need to place the success of our youth above testing, and has pledged to place more funding into our schools. He is also a champion of vocational training and higher education, receiving the McNaughton Leadership Award from our independent colleges. He believes that education and training is the foundation of equal opportunity, democracy and a strong middle class.
