The last thing we need is to raise taxes on middle class Tennesseans who need more money in their pockets, not less. The prosperity in this state comes from workers and our tax code should be geared to helping working people. It's time our tax code reflected the interests of everyday East Tennesseans, not special interests and their lobbyists.
