Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) released the following statement after the Supreme Court ruled today opposing public sector unions:
"This decision is a victory for the wealthy Republican donors and dark-money shadow groups that spent more than $17 billion to steal a seat on the Supreme Court and tilt the court further in favor of corporate interests. Today, the Republican majority gave them what they paid for. But make no mistake: as the recent teachers' strikes all across this nation have made clear, when workers join together to fight for better wages and working conditions, they will win, and no amount of money, not even $17 billion, can change that."
