Congressman Rice (R-S.C.) released the following statement after President Trump announced the U.S.-Mexico Trade Agreement:
"Today's agreement with Mexico is an important step forward in renegotiating fair trade deals. Other countries will not easily abandon their long-held advantages over American workers, and I applaud the Administration for bringing our trading partners to the negotiating table. President Trump's approach to rebalancing our trade deals is working, and I will continue to support the Administration as they pursue fair trade agreements that level the playing field for American workers and industries. Additionally, I will continue seeking input from businesses and farmers in the Seventh District throughout this process."
