Statement by Congressman Dan Kildee on President Trump's Replacement of the Clean Power Plan

Congressman Dan Kildee (MI-05) issued the following statement after the Trump Administration announced his replacement program for the Obama Administration's Clean Power Plan:

"President Trump's announcement today means more profits for polluters, at the expense of good-paying jobs and the health of Michigan families. The Clean Power Plan made Michigan a leader in clean energy by creating good-paying wind, solar and energy jobs and decreasing electricity prices for families. Instead, the Trump Administration's plan will mean more pollution, less economic innovation and greater harm to human health. This is the wrong approach for Michigan and our country."
