U.S. Senator Steve Daines today released the following statement in response to the Administration discussing allowing Russians to interrogate United States diplomats.
"Russian President Vladimir Putin's request to interrogate United States officials is absurd. American diplomats are serving our country abroad and oftentimes in dangerous places. They need to know that the United States government has their back. President Trump should deny any requests to turn over Ambassador Mike McFaul to Russia," said Daines.
