Issue Position

Rising healthcare costs are a huge burden on American families and businesses. John has fought to get rid of onerous taxes on medical devices, health plans, and individuals without health coverage that were imposed by Obamacare. He has pushed Congress to offer a workable alternative, while opposing repeal efforts that aren't accompanied by an alternative plan.

Additionally, John has been a vocal supporter of efforts to improve medical research and mental health care, and is actively working with local leaders, parents, and grassroots advocacy groups in our community to address gaps in pediatric mental health coverage in Central New York.
