Set aside politics to find common ground solutions

As the youngest of 12 siblings, Tom knows how to bring people together. It's why he is proud to co-chair the Problem Solvers Caucus, a bipartisan group of dozens of members of Congress who are committed to finding common ground on some of the toughest issues facing our communities. Together the caucus is driving problem solving efforts on health care, DACA and border security, infrastructure and the budget.

In addition to his leadership role on the Problem Solvers Caucus, Tom has a record of supporting bipartisan legislation on a range of important issues including a sexual harassment resolution that requires members of the House and their employees to undergo sexual harassment training and the bipartisan Revitalize American Manufacturing and Innovation Act (RAMI) which was co-authored by Tom and signed into law.
