Americans have a right to be safe from gun violence

Zoe proudly wears her lifetime "F" rating from the NRA as a badge of honor. She was honored to be the only elected official asked to speak at the 2018 March for Our Lives rally in San Jose. She believes Congress should do everything it can to prevent guns from falling into the hands of violent criminals, minors, and the mentally ill.

Our nation has been affected by far too many mass shootings and we are long overdue for commonsense reforms to ensure all Americans have a right to safety from gun violence.

Unfortunately, in the face of tragedy after tragedy, the Republican majority in the House has refused to allow a vote on any of these commonsense reforms. Despite this, it is important to continue efforts to enact reasonable laws that will do more to ensure the safety of our communities.
