In today's day and age, having reliable and affordable access to broadband internet isn't a luxury -- it's necessary for many aspects of life. Improving broadband access and adoption in Ohio communities means a better business environment, more effective community and economic development, improved health care, and increased education opportunities. The rural and Appalachian regions of Ohio and our district are disproportionally impacted by inadequate broadband access. We must consider broadband to be a vital part of our infrastructure and improve access -- especially for those who need it most.

With technology advancing every day, it's troubling that some areas are still without viable internet.
