Congresswoman Jackie Speier (CA-14) issued the following statement in response to the shooting at YouTube's headquarters in her Congressional District that injured three:
"I was shocked and saddened to hear about the shooting at YouTube today. I wish the victims a swift recovery and send my support to everyone at YouTube who went through this traumatic experience. Law enforcement and first responders did an outstanding job and undoubtedly saved lives. I commend them for their immediate response.
"Unfortunately, gun violence incidents at workplaces, schools, places of worship or entertainment have become all too common. We cannot accept this as normal. We must take action to end gun violence."
