We must reduce the violence and deaths from guns. We all have the responsibility to keep guns out of the hands of those who will do harm. I support enhanced background checks, raising the age to purchase to 21, and a ban on "assault-style" semi automatic weapons. I support gun ownership for hunting and self-protection, but no one needs weapons of war. Our children deserve better
We can find good solutions that protect everyone: our children, families and the rights of law-abiding gun owners.
