"The President's remarks this evening highlighted some of the positive developments from this past year, including tax reform and regulatory relief, that have renewed confidence in our economy. Because of these historic achievements, Utahns will have more money in their pocket and new opportunities to pursue their dreams. However, the work of the 115th Congress is not yet complete. We must repair our broken immigration system, update our nation's infrastructure, take care of our veterans, and ensure opportunity for all Americans. I am eager to work with my friends and colleagues on both sides of the aisle for the benefit of the American people. If we can tackle these issues in a spirit of unity, I am confident that our nation's outlook will remain bright."
