U.S. Senator David Perdue (R-GA) comments on the United States Senate's action to bring the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act to the Senate floor for a vote:

"Just last week, Georgians and Americans from all over the country traveled to our nation's capital to express their support for protecting the unborn. We have a moral obligation to fight on behalf of those who can't fight for themselves. As a father and grandfather, I have witnessed the miracle of life and cannot imagine anyone not wanting to protect the life of an unborn child. In just a few days, the Senate will vote to end late-term abortions, and I sincerely hope that everyone in Congress will unite and stand in solidarity to protect the unborn."
