Congressman Higgins Helps Pass Pro-Life Protections

Statement

Congressman Clay Higgins (R-LA), a cosponsor of H.R. 4712 the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, issued the following statement on the bill's passage today.

"The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act ensures that children who survive an abortion procedure will receive the life-saving medical services they deserve. These are children of God, and this bill gives them a chance to live. I am proud to be a cosponsor of these important protections, and this vote holds special weight falling on a day when so many are voicing their support for the pro-life movement at the March for Life in Washington."
