U.S. Rep. Luke Messer (IN-06) joined fellow Hoosiers and tens of thousands of others at the 45th annual March for Life today in Washington, D.C.

President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence addressed participants over video. Trump is the first President to ever give remarks at the annual March for Life Rally. Messer attended the march today with his daughter, Ava.

"I will always fight for life because every human life has dignity and should be protected, especially the lives of defenseless unborn children," Messer said. "Today's march sent another strong message that Hoosiers are energized in our mission to protect life, and I was glad to participate again this year."

Today Messer voted in support of the Born Alive Abortion Survivor's Protection Act (H.R. 4712), which ensures medical care and legal protection for abortion survivors.

Messer has a 100% pro-life voting record according to National Right to Life and is a member of the Congressional Pro-Life Caucus.
