Representative Ted Budd (R-NC) released the following statement regarding the House passage of the tax bill conference report:

"For too long, Congress has promised but failed to close loopholes and fend off special interest groups, until now. Today's vote moved us one step closer to delivering hard working American families the tax relief we promised.

I am proud to have supported this legislation, which puts more money in the pockets of American families, creates more American jobs and makes our businesses competitive in the global economy. I look forward to seeing this historic tax reform bill on the president's desk before Christmas."
