Today, Governor Chris Sununu issued the following statement after The President nominated Merrimack County Attorney Scott Murray to serve as U.S. Attorney for New Hampshire:

"As the Chief Law Enforcement Officer for Merrimack County, Scott Murray is widely respected across New Hampshire's legal community," said Governor Chris Sununu. "In March, I wrote to Attorney General Jeff Sessions recommending Scott for the appointment to the position of United States Attorney for the District of New Hampshire, and am confident that upon confirmation, he will serve this State and our nation with distinction as United States Attorney."
