Congressman Gerry Connolly (D-VA) released the following statement on President Trump's decision to end the DACA program:

"Dreamers are Americans. They're not pawns, they're not aliens. They embrace the best of America. To uproot them violates our own values. 800,000 Dreamers contribute $460.3 billion to our GDP and $24.6 billion to Social Security and Medicare. It is self-defeating to disrupt their economic contributions. This is ugly and un-American."
