9/11: We Will Never Forget

Statement

U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell today released a video message regarding the 16th anniversary of 9/11:

Following is a transcript of the Majority Leader's message:

"On a clear September morning sixteen years ago, our nation was changed forever.

"Today, we remember the victims of the horrific terrorist attacks of September 11th.

"We honor their families.

"We show our gratitude for the courageous men and women who put their lives in harm's way every single day to keep us safe.

"And as one nation, we reaffirm our promise: we will never forget."
