Rep. Joe Barton (R-TX) joins President Trump at the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for the signing of an executive order to review and rewrite the Clean Power Plan.
"In Texas, we know better than most that energy creates opportunity. By the same token, over-regulation kills jobs and hinders economic growth. Today, President Trump fulfilled a promise to undo the politically motivated, global warming agenda of the Obama Presidency. This executive order will help free Texas and our other states from emissions regulation that would close power plants and increase families' energy bills. Along with legislation from Congress, this order will allow our energy sector to thrive while also promoting safe air and water for all Americans."
