Statement

Like just about every other Utahn, I was very surprised this morning to read that my friend and my colleague, Jason Chaffetz has decided not to seek reelection to the 3rd congressional seat. Jason has been a great leader and member of the House and we can all be grateful and proud of his accomplishments for our state and for our country. I have always valued his friendship and his help. Utah's entire delegation has worked well together and his contribution will be missed. I am sure he will continue to serve the rest of this term with the same dedication, commitment and energy he has given the previous eight years. Thank you again my friend and my colleague for your great service.
