Congressman Blake Farenthold (R-Texas) issued the following statement Wednesday after President Donald Trump announced the nomination of Christopher Wray as FBI Director.

"I believe Mr. Wray has the qualifications to successfully lead the FBI. Many people lost confidence in the FBI under former Director James Comey's leadership.
