Congressman Farenthold Statement on American Health Care Act

Statement

Date: March 24, 2017
Location: Washington, DC

Congressman Blake Farenthold (R-Texas) is disappointed the House did not vote to repeal and replace Obamacare Friday afternoon.

"While I wasn't happy with some aspects of this bill, I believed it was the best option we had for actually repealing Obamacare," said Congressman Farenthold. "I'm hopeful that the House or Senate will come up with a better plan. I will do everything I can to keep my promise to repeal Obamacare."
Farenthold has voted more than 65 times to repeal, replace, or modify Obamacare.
