House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) issued the following statement after meeting with UN Ambassador Nikki Haley:

"It was great to see my good friend Nikki Haley this afternoon. Ambassador Haley has already taken significant steps to restore sanity to the United Nations. We discussed her efforts to counter Russian aggression, combat the delegitimization of Israel, and confront the threats posed by North Korea. I also thanked Ambassador Haley for being a strong voice for American values by promoting human rights and democracy abroad. Together with President Trump, we will restore America as a leading force for good."
