Congressman Brett Guthrie (KY-02) today voted to reject the anti-Israel United Nations Security Council Resolution 2334.
"In the midst of constant turmoil in the Middle East, the Obama administration has chosen to turn its back on our friend and greatest ally in the region -- Israel," said Guthrie. "By shamefully breaking with the longstanding tradition of defending Israel at the United Nations, the administration has undermined peace efforts and has empowered Israel's enemies. I am proud to stand up for Israel today with a bipartisan majority of my House colleagues, and I look forward to working with the incoming Trump administration, which has already committed its support for the state of Israel."
