Issues: Executive Branch Immigration
Congressman Tim Murphy (PA-18) released the following statement on the President's executive order on immigration:
"Our first priority is the safety of the American people and we have seen in Europe how poorly crafted immigration policies have increased the risk of terrorism and the number of terrorist attacks. Last year we were told that the Obama administration could not ensure the accuracy of security vetting, and it does not appear the process has been improved since then. It is my hope that under this administration we can improve the screening process for those who wish to enter our country from dangerous places around the world."
