U.S. Rep. Fred Upton, R-St. Joseph, made the following statement regarding President Trump's nominee to the Supreme Court:

"I carefully watched President Trump's announcement and was pleased and vastly impressed with Judge Gorsuch's credentials and gracious remarks. I have no doubt that he will serve our country with distinction and uphold our Constitution. I urge my colleagues in the Senate to quickly confirm him as they did unanimously before."
