U.S. Representative Randy Hultgren (IL-14) today released the following statement:

"I was extremely disturbed by the actions of National Security Advisor Flynn--he had to go. His misleading statements to Vice President Pence compromised the trust required of someone serving in such a critical position, undermining his ability to perform his job effectively. I remain very concerned over accusations of Russian involvement and interference in American affairs. We cannot and will not let this stand, and I will be actively working with my colleagues in Congress to look into this matter thoroughly."
