Senator Scott Votes in Support of Secretary of Transportation

U.S. Senator Tim Scott released the following statement after voting in support of Elaine Chao for Transportation Secretary. Chao was confirmed by the Senate 93-6:
"Our transportation department needs a strong leader well-versed in the challenges we face, and Elaine Chao fits that description to a "T'. She is well respected across the aisle, and is the perfect choice to build bridges in putting together an infrastructure package. I am confident that she will be a visionary leader and help ensure our nation's federal transportation systems are meeting the needs of the American people."
