Heitkamp Announces Federal Funding for Dickinson Early Head Start & Head Start

U.S. Senator Heidi Heitkamp announced $1,058,967 in federal funding for Early Head Start and Head Start programs for Community Action Partnership, Inc. in Dickinson to support education for students at the youngest ages.

"Early investments in North Dakota's youngest children will help lay the ground work for their success in the future," said Heitkamp. "Head Start and Early Head Start are proven programs that provide a solid education and will help students get started on the right foot. The federal funds announced today will support this early education for children in Dickinson."

These federal funds are made available through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Administration for Children and Families Office of Head Start.
