Today, the U.S. Senate voted to confirm Seema Verma to lead the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Senator Richard Burr (R-NC) released the following statement:

"As a member of the Finance Committee, I have been proud to support Seema Verma's nomination to be CMS Administrator throughout the confirmation process in the Senate. Ms. Verma's knowledge and leadership abilities will serve the American people well at CMS, an agency that touches the lives of millions every day.
