Chairman Rob Bishop (R-UT) released the following statement in reaction to President Donald J. Trump's first address to the joint session of Congress:
"President Trump's commitment to growing our economy and reforming federal bureaucracy to empower people are welcome words. The most refreshing part is to hear from a President who is willing to work with Congress. From infrastructure and regulatory reform to outdated environmental statutes and bureaucratic mission creep, I look forward to working in partnership with this administration and our states on a better way forward for the country."
